The record is pressed on pristine white vinyl and, like the album, the artwork was created by Bruce Mau Design in Toronto.  You can listen to the song by clicking play below.

If you live in the US, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand or Japan, you can buy the single from our webstore. Unfortunately, we are unable to ship to other territories due to licensing issues, however, the record is available for purchase from One Little Indian (UK/Europe).

Here’s a little story about how the song came to be:  It was the summer of 2013. I was standing naked in front of an enormous fan, complaining to my wife about how miserable summer weather is in Toronto.

“Didn’t Mel Torme’s manager tell him to think of something cool way back when he was in a Palm Spring’s heat wave?” she asked.

“So?”

“And didn’t Mel write The Christmas Song as a result?”

“What, you’re suggesting I write a Christmas song?” I accused.

“Well, it is kind of your job…”

“That’s not going to make me cool off,” I shot back.

“Whatever. I’m leaving,” she said.

“Forever?”

“No, you dope. We need dishwasher detergent.”

An hour later she came back.

“I wrote a Christmas song,” I said.

“Great. Now why don’t you go put some clothes on?”

“Because I’m still hot.”
